Patriot earpieces are superior to conventional earpieces made for severe and profound losses for minimizing feedback and maximizing comfort. The Patriot earpieces are hollow in the canal area and made of extremely soft material, providing excellent comfort. Because of this design, Patriots are less likely to unseat due to jaw motion. If  canal rejection and/or patient dexterity are not problems, most Patriots will be made as canal-only, thus making a more cosmetically appealing earpiece. Other styles available upon request. Patriot impressions must extend past the second directional bend in the canal.

The patriot is made with E-compound. Ecompound is an energy-dampening material which absorbs and breaks up reflected sound between the tympanic membrane and mold.
